Saturday I took a crochet class and am finally going to do something with all the wool I brought back from Ireland 4 years ago. I can't believe it's been that long. Anyways, I had been told that crocheting was easier than knitting, but I don't think so at all. There are lots of different stitches and such, but it was pretty fun and I've already started on my project, which I'm sure will take me forever to finish.
It was interesting to me that all the women in the class were young (in their twenties I think). I know that over the past several years knitting and crocheting has become cool again, but you have to wonder why a little bit. Why do you think domestic skills and crafts are back in style?
