We made the most yummy smoothies for breakfast this morning. Actually, I made them yesterday afternoon for a snack and was looking forward to the morning so I could have another. Pretty usual recipe, but very delicious, I think:
1 1/2 cups strawberries (I have a big frozen bag from Costco and heat them in the micro for 1 1/2 min so they are still cold but not so frozen)
1/2 milk (I used non-fat)
1/2 vanilla yogurt (again, non-fat)
1/2 orange juice
Then blend, blend, blend. Dan thinks it would taste good to throw a banana in there. My bananas are on the very ripe side, so I was going to use them for some bread, but maybe next time.
