I've been cooking, a lot, these past couple weeks. Just last month, I was totally burnt out on cooking, didn't feel like doing much at all, now I'm practically sleeping in the kitchen. I thought I'd share some of the new things I've been trying.
I found Smitten Kitchen a while back and fell in love. I made hamburgers the other day and served them with these brioche buns. Very yummy stuff. I try to stretch our meat, so I add a cup of ground oats, an egg, a shredded carrot, and seasoning to one pound of hamburger. It tastes so good, I would do it even if I weren't trying to be frugal.
Tomorrow... salsa or pie. I haven't decided.
