We made Lenten pretzels.
These were so incredibly easy, I have no idea how I haven't done these till now. I know I've intended to make them for several Lents, now, but I think I had it in my head they were far more difficult to make. There's no rise time, everyone can play with the dough, and above all, so tasty.
I got the recipe from here. Though I used half white, half whole wheat and instead of an egg wash (my egg allergy is getting worse and worse these days :(, I brushed on some melted butter after baking and then salted. There's one left. And it already has a bite taken out of it. I think we may make more tomorrow.
